1. About SitePatrol

SitePatrol ("we", "us", "our") operates a directory at sitepatrol.co.uk connecting buyers of site security services with security providers across the United Kingdom. By using our website you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

SitePatrol is a platform only. We are not a party to any contract between buyers and providers, and we do not provide security services ourselves.

2. Buyers — Quote Requests and Lead Unlocking

If you submit a quote request through our site, you confirm that:

  • The information you provide (name, email, company, site location, requirements) is accurate and submitted in good faith for a genuine enquiry.
  • You consent to your enquiry being shared with security providers who unlock the lead in line with our pay-per-lead model.
  • You will not submit speculative, fake, or test enquiries.

3. Providers — Listings and Lead Unlocks

If you list a security provider on SitePatrol, you confirm that:

  • You are authorised to represent the listed company.
  • All information in your listing — company details, accreditations (SIA ACS, NSI, ISO certifications), service areas, contact details, pricing, and any displayed reviews — is accurate, current, and not misleading.
  • You hold all licences, registrations and insurances legally required to deliver the services advertised, including SIA approval where applicable.
  • You will not misrepresent SIA, NSI, ISO or any other accreditation status.
  • Where you unlock a lead via our pay-per-lead model, you will use the buyer's contact details solely for the purpose of responding to that specific enquiry, in accordance with UK GDPR and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR).
  • You will not contact, market to, or otherwise re-use buyer details after the initial enquiry without obtaining a separate lawful basis to do so.

SitePatrol does not independently verify all claims made by listed providers. Buyers should conduct their own due diligence — including checking SIA licence status, insurance, and references — before engaging any provider.

4. Payment Terms

SitePatrol offers two paid models:

  • Subscriptions (Premium and Exclusive listings) are billed monthly via Stripe. You may cancel at any time from your dashboard. Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods.
  • Pay-per-lead unlocks are charged per individual lead at the price displayed at point of unlock. Payment is processed via Stripe. No refunds are provided once a lead has been unlocked, except where the lead is demonstrably fraudulent or duplicated and is reported to us within 7 days of unlock.

All prices are quoted in GBP and are inclusive of VAT where applicable. We reserve the right to change pricing at any time; changes will not affect subscriptions or leads already purchased.

5. Prohibited Conduct

You must not:

  • Submit, list, or display any content that is fraudulent, defamatory, discriminatory, or otherwise unlawful.
  • Misrepresent SIA, NSI, ISO or any other accreditation status or any other regulatory or insurance position.
  • Scrape, mass-export, or republish provider listings or buyer enquiries without our express written permission.
  • Use buyer contact details obtained through a lead unlock for any purpose other than responding to the specific enquiry that was unlocked.
  • Attempt to circumvent the pay-per-lead system (for example, by sharing an unlocked lead with another provider).

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for any user who breaches these rules, and to remove any listing or content at our discretion. No refund will be issued in cases of termination due to a breach of these terms.

6. Our Role as a Platform

SitePatrol is a directory service. We facilitate connections between buyers and security providers but do not vet, endorse, or take responsibility for any provider, buyer, listing, contract, work performed, or outcome arising from a connection made through our platform. We are not a security provider, employment agency, or alarm-receiving centre.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for any decision to engage, or not engage, any provider listed on the platform.
  • We are not liable for the quality, legality, suitability, or outcome of any security service performed by a provider engaged through SitePatrol.
  • We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from inaccurate information in a listing or quote request.
  • We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or loss-of-profit damage arising from use of the site.
  • Our total aggregate liability to any party in connection with the service shall not exceed the amount paid by that party to us in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or £100, whichever is greater.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury caused by our own negligence, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under English law.

8. Intellectual Property

The content, design and code of this website are the property of SitePatrol. Provider logos and company names remain the property of their respective owners. You may not copy, scrape, or redistribute any part of this site without our express written permission.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects when they were last revised. Continued use of SitePatrol after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from use of this website shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
